Dog Walker

During Blue Coat Academy (BCA), Volunteer Dog Walkers play an important role in supporting dogs during their training day. Dog walkers provide supervised walks that allow dogs to get outside, stretch their legs, sniff, explore, and take a break from structured learning—giving them time to simply be dogs.

These walks provide physical exercise, mental enrichment, and positive exposure to the environment, helping dogs return to training sessions more focused and relaxed. By offering this balance between work and play, Volunteer Dog Walkers help support the overall well-being and success of our service dogs in training.
