Helping Paws is a registered
501(c)3 non-profit corporation

Helping Paws' volunteers are truly the backbone of the organization. In the past fiscal year, volunteers donated over 50,000 hours to Helping Paws' programs and services. There are many ways a volunteer can help the organization, from becoming a foster home to serving on a fundraising committee to walking a dog for a service dog graduate. Helping Paws would not thrive without the enthusiastic efforts and commitment of all its volunteers.

Our volunteers do many things including:

  • Foster home
  • Exercising and grooming the dogs
  • Office administration
  • Participating in fundraisers
  • Special event volunteer
  • Breeding dog caretaker
  • Building maintenance and improvements
  • Photography and design
  • Board of directors
  • Committees
  • And much, much more!

If you would like to get involved as a Helping Paws Volunteer, please contact Judy Michurski at 952-988-9359, extension 11 or send her an email at jmichurski@helpingpaws.org
